This is a comprehensive training focused on sound baths and deep listening meditations. I have created the course I wish I could have been offered when I was starting my sound journey. It is highly specialized and only available in person in small groups, max of ten students. This is because each sound practitioner's journey is unique and I want to be able to give each student time and attention to bloom their unique offering. Below is a description of the two weekends which can be taken separately or together depending on your time and intention. Weekend one is fundamentals, weekend two is sound bath facilitation.
Each student is offered a complimentary one on one hour session with Kiko as part of the training. This can be taken at anytime the student is called.
Payments Plans are available - please contact Kiko directly at hi@kikosounds.com

Weekend One - Level 1 ~ Fundamentals in Sound
Jan 11+12 10am-5pm each day
An introduction to the science of sound, anatomy, and the history and traditions of sound healing. Together we will discuss and explore ways of meditating with sound to access deeper states of awareness. Time will be given to deep listening exercises and sounding with our voices. We will explore different techniques and traditions that utilize sound. We will also begin to play with instrumentation through the sound healing tools available at Kikospace (Crystal Bowls, Gongs, Chimes, Bells, Rattles, Shruti Box) and a more in depth study of tuning forks and their benefits as an entry level instrument for therapeutic sound. This weekend will conclude with guidance on how to create a sound bath meditation/journey with time given to experiment and create sound meditations together. Those who complete this weekend along with the homework given, will receive a certificate of completion in Sound Meditation Fundamentals from Kikospace.
Weekend 2 - Level 2 ~ Sound Bath Creation
Jan 18+19 from 10am-5pm each day
(attendees are required to have taken Level 1 or equivalent to register for weekend two. Please reach out to Kiko if you have questions).
Building upon the theory and practices developed over our foundational weekend, this second immersive will focus on the craft of creating sound baths. Participants will have dedicated time to play with graphic scores, develop unique sound journeys and sound meditations to share. Time will be given to exploring the different applications of sound meditations and details on the practical magic of bringing a sound meditation forward, from creating an offering, establishing a space, determining number participants, instruments, travel, set up, energetic hygiene practices and the responsibilities entrusted to you as a facilitator. Homework will be given in conjunction with our weekend together so that you have time away from the studio to practice your craft. On completion of the homework given and all course assignments received, you will receive a Sound Bath Facilitator Certificate from Kikospace.
About Kiko:
I began my sound journey in 2016 through my yoga studies in India. While staying in India I attended the Svaram Sound Therapy program and received certification through their school. I then continued immersive study and courses with John Bealieu (Biosonics Tuning Forks), Sylvia Nakkach (Vocalizing with Crystal Bowls), and Sara Auster (Completed advanced certification in the ASM method in 2021). I have also learned from master healers and musicians, Laraaji (NYC), and Carioca Frietas (Brazil) for many years. I am currently completing a 3 year teacher training program with Toronto Opera Singer Fides Krucker in the EIV (emotionally integrated voice method). In addition to this I am certified in Contemplative Psychotherapy from Nalanda in New York and have over 500 hours in Yoga Training, focusing on Restorative and Yoga Nidra. I have been operating a sound space in Toronto since 2017 and have been actively facilitating sound baths for individuals and small groups here for several years. I also have experience with corporate and large group sound baths ranging from offerings with the AGO, Saskatoon Symphony, Adobe Creative, CAMH, OCAD University, Google, Shopify and many more diverse clients. For a full list of my credentials and clients please reach out to me. There are many sound trainings that exist, and in my research as a student there were few people that felt in full integrity, who created sound bath experiences I resonated with and who I felt inspired to learn from. I traveled extensively for my training for this reason and my intention is that I have brought with me what I have learned to offer and share it with you. I highly encourage you to visit my studio, and attend a sound bath to see if my style, approach and ethos aligns with you. If you feel a calling, please join this special training. It is my deep honour and pleasure to share what I have learned and carry forward the wisdom of my teachers.
